The Recreational and Facility Manager will help run established recreation activities and work on coordinating and developing new programs for all ages. Experience with athletics, fitness, running leagues, setting up schedules, be comfortable instructing programs and running camps and activities. The Manager will step in when the Director is not available and run day to day operations. Computer and social media experience a plus. Complete daily office duties as needed, help maintain safety compliance and loss prevention in the facility, assist with maintaining and cleaning facility. CPR and First Aid certified or must be able to successfully complete within 1 month of hiring. CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification required, or must be able to successfully complete within 6 months of hiring. Daily weekday hours, and some weekend hours required. Hourly pay rate – dependent on experience and education; will be negotiable. Benefits: Paid Vacation.
The Class Instructor must have certification/experience with teaching/leading/instructing. CPR and First Aid preferred. Comply with basic risk and safety to all participants. Teach and guide class that fits the descriptions. Hours vary. Pay to be determined.
The Lifeguard Instructor must have or obtain certification as a lifeguard, then will be required to get certified as a Lifeguard Instructor- our facility works with Starguard. The Instructor will conduct monthly in-services with the lifeguards, help with the monthly lifeguard schedule, schedule classes and certification of new lifeguards. Part time position. Pay to be determined.
